Frequently Asked Questions: Sleep and Respiratory
What if I’ve tried CPAP and it didn’t work?
There are many machine settings and mask types. Our team works with you to adjust your setup for better comfort and results.
Will insurance cover my ventilator or CPAP equipment?
Usually, yes—if you meet the coverage criteria. We help handle the paperwork and authorization process.
Keep in mind that most insurances, including Medicare, require a certain level of compliance to continuing covering sleep therapy machines and supplies. In most cases, PAP compliance is considered to be at least 4 hours of use per night for at least 70% of nights during the month.
Can my caregiver get trained, too?
Absolutely. We offer education for both patients and caregivers during ventilator setup and ongoing support after. If you or your caregiver have any questions, we encourage you to reach out.
Do I have to visit in person?
We offer both in-clinic and in-home appointments depending on your needs, location, and device type.
